One of the Flathead Valley's early settlements, Creston's first post office was established in 1894 with Charles Buck as postmaster. This fertile farming area is located just north of Flathead Lake. Bargain hunters from throughout the area mark their calendars for the Creston Auction, held every April to benefit the Creston Volunteer Fire Department.
