Billings Motorcycle Club - Billings

Billings Motorcycle Club is a fantastic facility for motorcycle competitors. The property boasts almost 1,400 acres of property dedicated to motorcyclists and off road riding less than five minutes from Billings. After more than 90 years of motorcycle race promotion, we can confidently say we offer some of the best racing around.

A true multi-use facility, the Billings Motorcycle Club offers a 1 3/4-mile motocross track under huge cottonwoods along the Yellowstone River. A 1/2 mile supercross track offers plenty of excitement for even the most seasoned riders. The 1/8 mile short track was just rebuilt in 2007 and it is near perfect. A one-mile scrambles track allows riders to challenge themselves without the high flying of motocross.

In addition to our racetracks, Billings Motorcycle Club is home to the world famous Great American Championship Motorcycle Hill. This hill is 440 feet of shale, near vertical in areas. Ledges, and other natural obstacles lend to its nickname, the Bentonite Nightmare. The hill lies un-ridden by anyone 363 days of the year. Then for two days in late July, more than 600 riders attempt to conquer the nightmare.

The club grounds feature five other and equally challenging hills that competitors can attempt to conquer during the year. We also run a Four Hour Marathon that requires competitors to run a combination of multi-discipline events.

The Billings Motorcycle Club sponsors more than twenty days of racing during their season. Competitors and spectators are welcome on race day. Concessions are available but seating is limited so bring your friends, family and lawn chairs and see some great motorcycle racing under the big sky of Montana.
