Wald Ranch - Lodge Grass

The Wald Ranch B&B offers more than just a place to sleep. Our guests tell us they wish they had come to our place first so that they could have stayed longer! We are an authentic working ranch so you may see us irrigating, putting up hay, feeding our livestock, doctoring animals, branding and all sorts of ranch activities.

We represent western hospitality at its best! We enjoy meeting and visiting with our guests and finding out about their world as they find out about ours. You will be sleeping and eating in our new log ranch house. The lower level has guest rooms with king sized beds, plenty of closet space, a large family room and a large bathroom. Laundry, ironing board and iron are available. Outside is a lower and upper deck to watch wildlife and birds, just read, relax, gaze at the beautiful sunset, sunrise, star filled sky at night or beautiful scenery during the day.

We have scenic views, hiking, bird watching, site of a historic battle, Indian Chief burial ground and we’re surrounded by other historical sites, museums and scenic areas. But you may just want to enjoy the serenity and peace and quiet of the ranch.

We are unlike most B&Bs in that we include the evening meal in our rate. We serve plenty of home cooked ranch-type food which previous guests rate as superb. Our specialties are ranch-grown beef, home baked breads and desserts, fresh garden produce and home canned jams and pickles.

Our rates are modest when you consider it includes both the evening meal and breakfast for double occupancy. We want your vacation to be special so if your family or group consists of six or more, you will be our only guests.

We require one night's lodging as a deposit for your reservation and take all major credit cards. So come and visit us and see for yourself why people want to stay here longer!
