Historic Belton Depot - West Glacier

The station building, historically known as Belton Depot was constructed in 1910 and enlarged in 1935, was donated to the Glacier Natural History Association in 1991. The depot was renovated with attention to the cultural history and significance of its original use. It now houses the Associations main offices, warehouse, and a bookstore open Monday through Friday. Glacier Natural History Association offers a variety of publications and materials which promote a better understanding of Glacier's diversity of landscapes, animal and plant life, culture, and history.
