Annual Veterans Day Celebration - Hamilton

The Annual Veteran's Day Observance and Exhibit at the Ravalli County Museum in Hamilton will begin at 2:00pm at the Dough Boy statue in front of the Museum. The program begins with the laying of wreaths from the numerous Veteran's organizations and independents, followed by a patriotic medley, rifle salute and taps. The program continues in the former courtroom of the Ravalli County Old Courthouse Museum including recollections of veterans, a tribute to the POW/MIA's, and music.
The outstanding military collection of the Bitter Root Valley Historical Society decorate the courtroom. It represents service from the Civil War through the Gulf War, including photographs, documents, memorabilia, and uniforms.
Located on South 3rd and Bedford in Hamilton, the program welcomes Veterans from all branches and their families to attend this special event. Refreshments will be served following the program.
