Glacier Guides, Inc. is the exclusive hiking guide service inside Glacier National Park (the authorized NPS concession since 1983). We offer guided day hikes, extended backpacking treks and comfy Hut Hikes into Granite Park Chalet, located in the heart of Glacier's backcountry. Glacier Guides, Inc. (and Montana Raft Company) is located at mile marker 151 on US Highway 2, one and a half miles west of West Glacier. Our office complex is tucked away in six lovely wooded acres, so look for our sign along the highway. By Train: Amtrak stops at the Belton/West Glacier depot in West Glacier. By Air: Kalispell is the main airport, 30 minutes away. Northwest, American West and Horizon/Alaska are the main carriers. Rental cars are available at the airport and in West Glacier, or a shuttle service is available through Flathead Glacier Transportation, 800-829-7039.
