Tamarack Festival - Seeley Lake

Saturday, October 03, 2009 - Sunday, October 04, 2009

Come to Seeley Lake for this spectacular two-day event to celebrate the arts and the alpine splendor of the turning tamaracks. The Western Larch trees, commonly known as Tamaracks, is the only species of coniferous trees that actually lose their needles annually to return in the spring. Come and see our deciduous coniferous trees as the needles turn the most beautiful golden color and then fall like golden snow.

To 'Celebrate the Trees', we host a festival that focuses on the beauty of the season, with an Arts and Crafts show, Tour of the Arts, historical society event and various other activities. Maps available to walk, hike, bike or drive to see the best trees.
