Sanders County Christmas Bazaar - Thompson Falls

Saturday, December 05, 2009

The Sanders County Christmas Bazaar was established in 1978 as a show case for local artists and crafts people. Its primary mission is to raise funds for a local charity, the Sanders County Sheriff's Christmas Relief Fund. This fund provides food baskets and gifts to needy county families at the holidays as well as assists in times of crisis, such as fire. There are over 80 vendors; by reservation only.

Features at the Bazaar include hourly door prize drawings for gift certificates and merchandise donated by county businesses; a raffle with all proceeds going to the relief fund. Concessions open from 7:30am until 3:30pm. At the Kids Korner, operated by the local Cadette and Senior Girl Scouts, children make inexpensive gift items for a nominal fee and of course visit with Santa. Photos with Santa available from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Parking is spacious and free. Admission is free. The all volunteer staff welcomes your attendance. Hope to see you there!
