Annual Garden City River Rod Run

The Annual Garden City River Rod Run will feature nearly 200 classic and hot rod cars and close to 3,000 spectators to Downtown Missoula for the two-day event.

The parade on Higgins Avenue Friday night from 9:00 - 10:00pm will highlight the festivities.

Admission to the Garden City River Rod Run is free to spectators. Participants can register cars in the show and parade. A show and shine will take place on Saturday from 11am-6pm. A variety of food and beverages will be available for purchase from a range of vendors.

'This is one of the most exciting events we have Downtown,' said Linda McCarthy, executive director of the MDA. 'Folks come from all over the see these beautiful hobby cars, and the Downtown community benefits from all the traffic. It's a win-win for everyone.'

The Garden City River Rod Run is produced by the Missoula Downtown Association in partnership with Cherry Creek Radio.
