DescriptionHave you been dreaming of deep powder? Then welcome to Valhalla Adventures We offers powder skiing, snowboarding, telemark skiing, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, snowmobile riding and hiking. We provide a thirty foot yurt with a wood stove and twelve bunks for your pleasure and convenience. Our guest's stay for varying amounts of time from day trips to two and three day adventures. If you like winter you will love Valhalla Adventures!
Valhalla Adventures specializes in Cat accessed, top quality tree riding for skiers, telemarkers and snowboarders of all abilities. We also offer a variety of coarse opportunities. With an Introduction to Backcountry Course you will leave with the confidence to get started in the backcountry. Our next course is a Level I Avalanche Course which is a prerequisite of our highest level course the Level II Avalanche Course. Education gives you the ability to make good decisions in the backcountry.
At Valhalla Adventures our goal is to provide a unique backcountry experience tailored to your specific needs. We don't sell pre-built ski trips; we sell trips you design, from multi-day hard core skiing trips with maximum vertical to leisurely days with gourmet lunches and a few afternoon runs. Valhalla Adventures is here to satisfy your powder skiing needs.
Located in the Stillwater State Forest in NW Montana near Whitefish and Glacier National Park, Valhalla Adventures can offer a wide variety of terrain to match the abilities of all levels of skiers. From steeps for advanced skiers and boarders, to rolling glades for intermediates, we can custom tailor the terrain to suit your abilities and needs for adventure!
DirectionsValhalla Adventures LLC departure area is located approximately 18 miles north of Whitefish in the Stillwater State Forest. You take Highway 93 north out of Whitefish heading towards Canada 18 miles to the turn off to Olney instead of turning to Olney (left) you turn right into the snowmobile parking area this is where Valhalla Adventures will be waiting for you to start your adventure. Now you will embark on the Haggland BV 206 for an 18 mile ride to the yurt in the Striker Ridge Area.
