Around the Corner Antiques & Art - Eureka

Around the Corner Antiques & Art is a quaint shop specializing in 'smalls' - art glass, glassware (carnival, depression and patterned glass), pottery, porcelain, primitives, silver, books, jewelry - Victorian and costume, figures, advertising and minimal accent furniture.

The shop is also a personal gallery for the artistry of Alicja R. Edwards in the form of acrylic paintings and greeting cards of Eureka and surrounding sites and scenery. Now offering beautiful calendars filled with Alicja Edwards paintings of the Tobacco Valley.

Her personal published memoirs are also available for purchase at this location or by phone. Her book: And God Was Our Witness is the compelling World War II memoirs of a young Polish girl forced into slave labor in Russia along with her family and thousands of other Poles; while the rest of the world sat idly by as Poland disappeared and turned away from the resulting displaced refugees without a country.

My second book They Called Us D.P.'s is a continuation of And God Was Our Witness and is available. It is about our exile in Iran c.1942-1945.
