Flathead Valley Community College Chef's Table is presented by the college's first-year culinary arts students as they complete their first-year internships. The students are the spotlight for the night as they showcase their talents in preparing, plating and serving the light hors d'oeuvres and three-course meals that vary each week including an appetizer, sorbet, salad, main course and a featured dessert accompanied by homemade cookies and chocolate-dipped strawberries. Each course will be paired with a select wine to complement and enhance the flavors. Guests who attend are invited into the 3,224-square-foot teaching kitchen where dinner is served. During the evening, instructor and world-trained Chef Howard Karp serves as the evening's emcee, introducing each course and all of the student chefs who make it happen. Chef's Table Winemaker Dinners will take place February 12 and May 7.
