There are a lot of events and activities that take place such as ATV Poker Runs, ATV trails, Bass tournaments, Northern Pike tournaments, snowmobile Poker Runs, groomed snowmobile trails, the Sanders County Sale-ing ( a county wide garage sale - 120 miles), 4th of July fireworks, celebrations in various towns, Huckleberry Festival, car shows, cruising loops, bike loops, hydro boat races and hiking trails. The scenic highway has lots of wildlife viewing and has elk wintering areas. It is in a county which is 90% public land.
