Milltown State Park - Missoula

Abundant outdoor opportunities and a rich cultural heritage converge at the newly restored confluence of the Clark Fork and Blackfoot Rivers at the heart of the Milltown State Park.

The overlook is open now and features interpretive displays and picnic tables. New in 2015 are nearly 1.5 miles of hiking trails that lead from the overlook down to the Clark Fork River floodplain. The main park areas are anticipated to open to the public in 2016. In the meantime, visit the Milltown State Park Overlook, located on the Deer Creek Road, for a panoramic view of the park and interpretive experience of the confluence below.

There is no visitor center, camping or staff at this location.
