Railway 1905 Home - Whitefish

This original 1905 house in downtown Whitefish is a block to great coffee, market/deli, local beer, fine clothing shops, and the Ski Bus. It is located in a quiet residential area just outside the bustle of the downtown. The crazy history of life in Whitefish early 1900s with pictures of what people did for fun, what the streets looked like through the years, what was happening in the rest of the US during these years. Original Clawfoot Tub, 70+ trees all around the grass yard. A nice adventure.

This house is Licensed and inspected by Fire and Health Departments and license by the City of Whitefish.

This 1905 house was one of Whitefish's first homes built the year just after the first passenger train arrived in Whitefish. The City had one hotel with the main streets that were thick rivers of mud in rainy season with blunt cut tree stumps everywhere. The 1905 house has pictures on all the walls of the people of the era and Montana Living in the early 1900's. Having fun, being crazy in Whitefish. The Ski Area existed since the 1940's. The house was the original Railroad Engineer's house, larger than most other houses on the block. This is a step back into the history of Whitefish but has internet and a smart TV with Netflix.

There is a new queen bed in one bedroom with a Full bed in the other. The large clawfoot tub still remains along with the original bathroom sink. There is a large kitchen, Stainless Steel pots, dishes, . A large mud-room is safe enclosed porch for Skis or bikes. In the summer, there is a grass yard with outdoor chairs. A car is not needed at all in the Winter as the Free Ski Bus can take you up to the mountain or to the Large Markets and Sportsman, etc.
