Outback Ski Shack - Whitefish

The Outback Ski Shack is the premier Nordic shop for Northwest Montana. Quality equipment includes Atomic, Fischer, Alpina, Sporthill and Swix. Full service is the specialty of our friendly staff. With over 150 years of skiing experience, our knowledgeable staff can help select the right equipment for you. Skate ski demos, and rentals. Full service shop with pine tar to race prep, we can do it all.

Rental and Demo program available on all of the skis we sell. Try before you buy. Pulk rental available, also a child's sled to tow your children when skiing.

Glacier Nordic Ski School is the oldest consistently run Nordic ski school in Montana. Lessons in both classic and skate techniques are offered daily by our PSIA certified instructors and former USCA coaches. Private lessons and special programs are also offered.

Outback Ski Shack and Glacier Nordic Ski School is conveniently located at 1200 US Highway 93, 1 mile west of Whitefish on the Glacier Nordic Center a 12 kilometer trail system. Turn at the Golf Course/Nordic Center signs.
