DescriptionLake Alva Campground is situated in thick spruce and subalpine trees 10 miles north of Seeley Lake at an elevation of 4,100 feet. There are picnic areas and 41 family campsites and 2 group campsites at Lake Alva. Reservations are required for groups of 11 or more and cost $25 - $35. There is a small beach great for swimming on the shore of Lake Alva. Boating is made accessible by a boat launch on the lake. Water and restrooms are provided for the campground. Hook-ups are not available for RVs. The fee for the use of this campground is $10 a day. Add $5 a day for an extra vehicle. Please limit your stay to 14 days.
DirectionsTravel 10 miles north of Seeley Lake on Montana Highway 83, then take Forest Service Road 1098 It is 26.5 miles north of Clearwater Junction on Highway 83. There is a $4.00 additional vehicle fee.
