DescriptionSalmon Forks Outfitters offer a hunting and fishing adventure in northwest Montana's Bob Marshall Wilderness area. The Bob Marshall contains more than one million acres of rugged wilderness beauty untouched by roads of any kind. Since it is a wilderness area, the only way to gain access to it is by foot or on horseback. Salmon Forks Outfitters camp is located along the south fork of the Flathead River in the heart of the Bob Marshall and is reached by a horseback ride through some of the most spectacular scenery in Montana. For the fisherman, the fishing can't be beat.
The biggest lake in the 'Bob' is just a short ride from camp. Fishing along the shore line has provided huge trout. The lake is crystal clear and often you can see the fish swimming up for a strike. A short ride to the head of the lake with excellent fishing and a fish fry over an open campfire is a day you won't soon forget!
