DescriptionParade of Lights is an annual evening parade, featuring local businesses and groups. Church groups welcome. Main street lights are turned down and the floats are lit up.
Because December in northern Montana usually means cold and serious chill factors, both adults and children are usually heavily bundled for what is a one-mile slow drive through town, punctuated by holiday music, Christmas caroling and a few surprises. In recent years Santa rode in a well-lit VW Beetle, kids popped out of the straw in a hay wagon and a reproduction of a turn of the 20th century Montana classroom celebrating Christmas times past.
DirectionsParade of Lights will be held on Main Street starting at the Plentywood School, going south on Main Street, then west on Highway 16 before turning north toward the hospital.
