DescriptionThe Garfield County Museum opened its doors in August of 1984. There is a full size Triceratops. The original was dug out north of Jordan. There are also several other fossils, including a T-Rex head. A homestead cabin and an old black smith shop replica have been built inside the museum. There are many interesting items from homestead days. An old time schoolhouse stands on the property. The museum invites everyone to share our areas rich history of fossils and homesteading. DirectionsThe Garfield County Museum is located at the east end of Jordan on Montana Highway 200, at the north end of the Senior Center.
