National Trail Day - Great Falls

As part of the larger celebration of National Trails Day, the USDA Forest Service will offer a special guided hike along the Sulphur Springs Trail. Participants will meet at the Interpretive Center and carpool to the trail head downstream of the Interpretive Center. This is a moderately strenuous hike of 3.6 miles roundtrip. Participants should wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes and bring water. Free.

The Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail Interpretive Center can be reached by following the brown Interpretive Center / State Park signs in Great Falls. 1/4 mile from Giant Springs; 1.5 miles east of Black Eagle Dam.
