Yellowstone Association - Yellowstone National Park

If you are planning a trip to Montana, you are probably planning a trip to Yellowstone, the world's oldest and most beloved national park. The nonprofit Yellowstone Association, the National Park Service's partner in Yellowstone education, offers the world's largest selection of books, maps, videos, field guides, educational games, and software about Yellowstone. Properly planning your Yellowstone trip can make the experience much more rewarding, and we will be glad to send you a free catalog or to suggest books which will match your family's interests. While in Yellowstone, be sure to visit our Park Stores. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff will be glad to help you find just the right item to answer your questions or to take home with you.

Over 5000 visitors join us each year at the Yellowstone Association Institute. Reasonably priced one- to ten-day classes suitable for a wide range of skill levels are offered including classes on Yellowstone history, ecology, wildlife, plants and wildflowers, art, and photography.. The Yellowstone Association Institute offers classes throughout the park and has two field campuses. The Lamar Buffalo Ranch Field Campus is in the park's northeast corner. The Yellowstone Overlook Field Campus is located 1.5 miles outside of Gardiner, Montana, at Yellowstone's North Entrance.

Each year, through educational sales and a membership and donor program, the Yellowstone Association is able to donate over $500,000 back to Yellowstone National Park to help support educational programs and scientific projects in the park. A $35 annual membership will entitle you and your family to discounts in our Park Stores and our Institute courses, as well as seasonal discounts on park lodging and discounts at Yellowstone General Stores, plus more!
