Absarokee Farmers Market CPC - Absarokee

Saturday, September 05, 2009

The Cobblestone Preservation Committee sponsors the Farmers Market, Saturday of Labor Day Weekend. We have the venders gather at the elementary school grounds starting at 7:00am until 9:00am at which time they can begin to sell. We furnish electrical hookups if necessary. We can either have a fees for spaces sent in advance or we will collect after the venders are set up. We sell spaces at $10.00 for five feet and then increments of five feet thereafter. The spaces are 10 feet deep. No one can begin to sell before nine o’clock and no one can leave before 2 o’clock except for bad weather. We serve breakfast and lunch on the grounds. We do not allow straw bales because of cleanup, however each vender must furnish their own tables, provide their own shade and handle their own sales and provide their own change.

We do not reserve spots for anyone so it is come and claim your spot. We have vendors come from all over Montana and because of the time we have the market, people do quite a bit of Christmas shopping.

We have jams, jellies, paintings, crochet work, afghans, candy, rugs, embroidery items, and many many more items. We have a great time with the vendors. The Farmers Market has been in the same location for more than ten years.

Many vendors come to Absarokee on Saturday, attend the annual Running of the Sheep in Reedpoint on Sunday and onto Red Lodge on Monday for Labor Day.
