Flies and Lies Lodge - West Yellowstone

The Flies and Lies Lodge is furnished with two bedrooms and a loft that comfortably sleeps six.

Located in the Madison valley, it literally looks out over the Madison River and is a short 30-minute drive from Yellowstone National Park. You will feel like the river runs right through the home. Enjoy this unique opportunity to spend time along one of the most famous Blue Ribbon trout rivers in America!

The home has a tasteful, cozy, western style with beautiful wood walls and cathedral ceilings with large windows to enjoy the stunning views. The grand room features a modern kitchen and a living room with a wood-burning stove. You are welcome to enjoy a collection of my favorite books about fly-fishing and the surrounding area. The two bedrooms with queen-size beds on the main floor have outstanding river and mountain views. A massive ladder staircase leads to a loft with two twin beds that overlook the grand room.

The deck, overlooking the river, is my favorite spot. Time passes quickly just watching the river sweeping by, seeing large rainbow and brown trout rise to evening hatches. In the morning watch the Peregrine Falcons diving for breakfast while sipping your morning coffee. The deck has a comfortable patio set and gas grill along with a bench and hooks to hang your fishing waders. A fire pit is available off the cabin deck that is great for telling stories around the fire and watching the stars light up the Montana Big Sky.
