Description

Taco Del Mar, the Seattle-based franchise restaurant, has arrived in Bozeman. The franchise is locally owned and operated by Jeff Stevens. Located next door to Old Navy in the Bridger Peaks Town Center on North 19th, Taco Del Mar serves up traditional and healthy Mexican style grub.

Taco Del Mar features the signature menu item, FISH TACOS, as well as HUGE Burritos weighing in around 24 oz. along with Vegan & Vegetarian items. You won't find any lard in their beans, and the added fat is cholesterol-free. The menu also includes salads, quesadillas, hard & soft tacos, nachos and kid's meals.

The firs TDM restaurant opened June 8th, 1992 on Pier 57 in Seattle's historic waterfront district. The founders, brothers James and John Schmidt, picked the name and logo to reflect the signature menu item...the fish taco. Today, there are over 50 franchise stores throughout Washington, Oregon, Alaska and now Montana.

Along the way, the company received a great deal of favorable press. Back in 1995 John Hinterberger of the Seattle Times called the fish burrito 'the best-tasting, sloppiest-eating, fast food in Seattle.' In August 1996, the New York Times listed Taco Del Mar as one of five restaurants not to be missed when visiting Seattle. The readers of Sunset magazine voted the Taco Del Mar burrito the best in Washington. The Eastside Week, a suburban Seattle newspaper voted the Taco Del Mar as the best lunch spot and the most affordable places to eat. And for the past three years, the annual Seattle Weekly reader poll has named Taco Del Mar 'best burrito' in its best of Seattle survey. Taco Del Mar is also mentioned in Zagats Guide to Seattle.

Taco Del Mar is open seven days a week from 11:00am to 9:00pm Monday through Saturday and 12:00pm to 8:00pm on Sundays. Customers can dine in or take out and orders can be placed by phone.
