DescriptionThe Big Yellow House is a Victorian house listed on the National Register of Historic Places. We are located on the Main Street of Absarokee. The house sits on a large lot surrounded by gardens and mature trees. We have three guest rooms in our historic home. On our premises we have a cafe serving coffee, tea and European style sandwiches and salads. Food services are by reservation only. The ground floor houses a large shop/gallery featuring carpets and crafts imported from Central Asia. We also have two cottage units on our property. Each has a kitchenette, living room, bedroom, and private bathroom. We also offer tourist information and concierge service. We specialize in hosting small groups for meetings, reunions, retreats, and workshops.
DirectionsThe Big Yellow House is located south from Columbus off of I-90. 14 miles to Absarokee. Highway 78 turns left onto Main Street. The Big Yellow House is first house on the left.
