Bear Creek Trailhead House - Bozeman

A vacation home in the forest, by a creek, next to two trailheads, yet close to town for shopping and dining the Bear Creek Trailhead House is just right for your Montana holiday. The house is surrounded by State forest property and is one mile from the National forest boundary up the Bear Creek Trail. Two blue ribbon trout fishing rivers, the Yellowstone and the Gallatin, are less than 20 miles to the east and the west. In winter, there is skiing right out the front door for cross country or alpine touring with skins and both Bridger Bowl and Big Sky are an easy drive away. Both the north entrance and the west entrance to Yellowstone Park are about the same distance from the house, and guests often drive the loop through the Park by driving up the Gallatin River to West Yellowstone and back home by way of Gardner and down along the Yellowstone River.

Horseback Riding: is available within a few miles. The Bear Creek Trail and New World Trail are open to hikers, horseback riders and cross-country skiers. Three trails in the area follow creeks to mountain lakes and are very scenic, passing through both timber and meadows with opportunities for viewing wildlife.
