Minutes away are  groomed Nordic Ski trails, but feel free to strap on your skis right out your back door on the golf course during the winter. This is Montana living at its finest.

Why the lodge is named The Glen. Glen is a Scottish/Gaelic term for a deep valley in the Highlands, typically one that is long, deep, and often glacially U-shaped, or one with a watercourse running through it. The resemblance of the Scottish Highlands while approaching Red Lodge and the views from the region is stunning. The Monarch of the Glen is a famous portrait of a large Red Deer placed purposely over the sign-in book in the entryway. You will see the similarities in the painting of this wonderful back drop.
