DescriptionRainbow Point Campground is located in the Gallatin National Forest in southwest Montana. This is a large campground located near a lake and just outside of Yellowstone National Park. At an elevation of 6500 feet, this campground encompasses 4 acres. There are 85 designated campsites which have access to water, restrooms, firewood and trash pickup. Tents welcome. Fishing, swimming, and boating may be enjoyed on the lake. There's a boat launch on the lake. Don't let the pets miss out--they're welcome too. The largest parking spur is 40 feet by 30 feet. Your stay may not exceed 16 days and you will be asked to pay a fee for the use of the campground.
DirectionsRainbow Point is located 5 miles north of West Yellowstone on US Highway 191, then 3 miles west on Road 610, then 2 miles north on Road 6954.
