Description

Located in the heart of Big Sky country on the banks of the Gallatin River the Rainbow Ranch Lodge combines the rustic rugged West with classic elegant sophistication. A place where exceptional food, wine, and accommodations are our passion and hospitality is instinctive.

Each of the Lodge's 21 rooms offer luxurious comfort and amenities and our Log Cabins, ranging from two to five bedroom, are ideal for a romantic getaway for two or a fly fishing retreat for ten.

The acclaimed Rainbow Ranch Restaurant serves dinner nightly throughout the summer and winter seasons. Using the finest and freshest foodstuffs available, our chef combines local, regional, and international cuisine to create a truly unique and imaginative menu. Wild game, Montana steaks and fresh seafood are just a few of his specialties.

To complement your meal we have an award winning wine collection of over 8,500 bottles. Stored through the iron gates and weeping river rock archways of our cellar, The Bacchus Room, the wines also frame an intimate setting for private parties and wine tasting.

For the outdoor enthusiast summer and winter activities abound at the Rainbow Ranch Lodge and the surrounding Big Sky/Yellowstone area. From world-class fly fishing, horseback riding, hiking, whitewater rafting, kayaking, mountain biking, golf, and exploring nearby Yellowstone National Park in the summertime to downhill skiing at Big Sky and Moonlight Basin Ski Resorts; cross-country skiing and snowshoeing into the miles of Montana backcountry bordering the property; guided tours of Yellowstone National Park; snowmobiling; dog sledding; and winter fly fishing in the wintertime. Experience rugged outdoor adventure by day and savor the luxurious comforts of the lodge by night.

Directions

Just 40 miles south of Bozeman, the Rainbow Ranch Lodge and cabins are located on the Gallatin River 5 miles south of the entrance to the Big Sky Ski Resort on Highway 191. Nestled between the Gallatin and Madison Mountain Ranges of the Rocky Mountains, 12 miles north of the boundary of Yellowstone National Park. From Gallatin Field Airport (BZN) exit, turn right on historic Highway 10. Continue through the town of Belgrade until you reach the second 4 way stop sign. Turn left onto Jackrabbit Lane. Jackrabbit Lane becomes Highway 191 at Four Corners. Continue on Highway 191 for 46 miles (5 miles past the turnoff for Big Sky). The Lodge will be on your left.
