DescriptionIndependence Trail (121) travels from the Independence Mine area through high alpine meadows to the head of the East Fork Boulder and the junction with East Fork Boulder Trail 27.
Length: 3.5 miles. Wilderness, moderate difficulty, medium use. Trail Begins: Independence Trail Ends: Boulder Pass

DirectionsIndependence Trail is located 25 miles south of Big Timber on US Highway 298, then 28 miles south on County Road 212. Access may be limited in spring, fall and winter due to snow.
