The Magpie's Nest - Absarokee

The Magpie's Nest offers one of Montana's blue ribbon trout streams, just off our front porch, where you can enjoy the scenic Stillwater River. Less than one hour away, enjoy the Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness with wildlife viewing, hiking, and back packing, as well as golfing at several courses. We are forty-five minutes to Red Lodge Mountain ski and hiking area and just three hours to Yellowstone Park using the Beartooth Highway. White water rafting or horseback riding can be arranged or just sit and relax in the pleasant quiet surroundings.

The Magpie's Nest is conveniently located 13 miles off I-90. Take Columbus Exit 408. Follow State Highway 78 past mile marker 35. Turn right, cross river turn left and proceed 1.5 miles to the Magpie's Nest.
