DescriptionJune 13 & 14, 2008: The Annual NRA Gardiner Rodeo will be held at the Jim Duffy Arena on Highway 89, just north of town. Events are as follows: Bull Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Bareback Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Calf Roping, Ladies Breakaway Roping, Ladies Barrel Racing, Junior Breakaway Roping & Junior Barrel Racing. Each rodeo event starts at 6pm. Slack will start at 1pm on Friday June 13 - slack is free for the public to watch. Rodeo entrance fee is $7 per adult and $3 per child 6-12, Children 5 and under are free. The Gardiner Community Center will have a dance on Friday night after the rodeo, starting at 9pm. A parade will be held on Saturday, June 14th at 2pm. The parade route goes from the Gardiner Rodeo Grounds to the Gardiner School. The Gardiner Rodeo Club will be selling advance tickets to the rodeo this year. If you purchase your tickets in advance you will save $1 on Adults and $.50 on Children 6-12. The Gardiner Rodeo Club will be selling raffle tickets for the Annual NRA Rodeo Raffle. Tickets are $5 each or 3/$10. Purchase tickets at Kellem's Saddle Shop or any Rodeo Club Member.
