Medicine Rocks Day - Ekalaka

In conjunction with Carter County Museum, Medicine Rocks State Park hosts a day of guest speakers and nature walks. Presentations include guest speaker Shane Doyle, a member of the Crow Tribe and outreach coordinator for the MSU CO-OP, 10-11 a.m.; Geology of the Medicine Rocks with Thomas Holtz, senior lecturer in vertebrate paleontology for the Department of Geology, University of Maryland, 11-11:30 a.m.; Paleontology of the Medicine Rocks with Amy Atwater, paleontology collections manager at Museum of the Rockies, 11:30 a.m.-noon; and a Nature Walk with Thomas Shoush, Park Ranger at Makoshika State Park, noon-12:30 p.m.
