DescriptionAt Lookout Pass, we're committed to providing you and your family with a great skiing experience. The snow comes early. It snows regularly. And our climate results in snow that tends to be light and fun to ski. Lookout has 444 skiable acres and 23 runs, the Lucky Friday Glades and Freestyle Terrain! Two terrain parks with huge banks, mounds, launches, rails, and a 1,111 foot quarter pipe are here for your pleasure. Full service lodge with food, bar, rentals, lessons, 25k of cross-country, snowshoeing. So come play at Lookout this winter!!
Lookout's full-service lodge has been here for 66 years and has a great amount of rustic appeal and charm. Enjoy a drink by the fireplace or hot bread bowl of chili in this cozy atmosphere. We have a full bar, kitchen plus two large seating areas, restrooms and a locker room.
Lookout Pass has great ski and board lessons. Lookout Pass Free Ski School - This is the only program of its kind in the nation!! FREE lessons for children aged 6 - 17 beginning on Saturday January 8. Each child must supply his or her own ski/snowboard equipment. Private and Group lessons available. Complete downhill and snowboard packages in full and half day rentals available.
DirectionsFrom Missoula head west on Interstate 90 towards Idaho. Lookout is located on the Idaho/Montana border at Exit 0 (zero). There is a sign showing the off ramp for Lookout Pass shortly before you get to the Idaho border. The parking lot is 200 yards from the I-90 off ramp. It is 100 miles to Lookout from downtown Missoula.
