Description
It's Big. It's Bad. It's Calling YOUR name. Deep, powdery bowls and 2,600 feet of continuous vertical drop make Snowbowl an extremist's dream. There is plenty of skiing for all ability levels. Cruise three miles down Montana's longest run. Attack 900 acres of skiable terrain. Test yourself against Montana's best, Snowbowl.
It's for extremists. To hear some skiers talk about Snowbowl's black diamond runs, you'd think Snowbowl is an extremist's dream come true. Snowbowl has one of the largest vertical drops in the country - this is a skier's mountain that can truly call itself a mountain. And expert trails run down every one of those 2,600 feet. Deep, powdery bowls and steep, mogul-filled runs are the Snowbowl trademarks that attract these hard-core skiers, the people for who skiing is not just recreation, but religion.
Actually, it's for intermediates. Snowbowl isn't all beast. As a matter of fact, about 40% of its runs are intermediate. And when you consider that Snowbowl's the largest mountain in the area, with over 900 acres of skiable terrain, that adds up to plenty of intermediate skiing. So you might get the impression that Snowbowl's for "middle-of-the-road" skiers. And of course, it is.
Come to think of it, it's for beginners. There's still another side to Snowbowl. Anyone - anyone - can start out here on the rope tow or T-Bar slopes. And Snowbowl's innovative ski school programs, for everyone from 4-year-old kids to seniors, are just the thing to get the , ‘never-evers’, started. So you might think that Snowbowl's not just for experts or intermediates. And again, you're right.
But wait, there's more. Lots more. Like pizza cooked in a wood fired oven in the award winning Last Run Inn. Telemark skiing and clinics for the free heelers. And snowboarding and the annual Snowboard Jam competition just for shredders.
39+ trails and groomed runs, open powder bowls and tree skiing.
