Montana Auto Museum - Deer Lodge

Take a drive through time at the Montana Auto Museum of the Powell County Museum and Arts Foundation. Also listed as a "USA Today" top ten must see car museum. It will be a great experience for visitors of all ages. View the transition from the carriage to the car and the effect that the car has had on our lives. You will see vehicles from the 1890s through the 1980s. It is the story of people and cars (a love affair) and how the car has been adapted to suit our needs and personalities.

The Montana Auto Museum is located in the Old Montana Prison Complex, which houses five unique museums inside its historic prison walls. The complex includes the Old Montana Prison, Powell County Museum, Frontier Montana Museum, Yesterday's Playthings and the Montana Auto Museum.

One fee covers all museums.
