The Mutineers are a rock duo that blends the twangy influences of Johnny and June with the punk vibe of John Doe and Exene, and the dark sounds of Nick Cave and PJ Harvey. Husband and wife Brian Mathusek and Merry Young live part-time on an island in the Lower Columbia River in Washington, but have been mostly on the road since 2017, completing four national tours. They have opened for bands such as Murder By Death, Amigo the Devil, Tallest Man on Earth, Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band, White Buffalo, and Larry and His Flask, among others. Catch them in Montana in during their Mountaineer Tour in July.
