Frontier Montana Museum - Deer Lodge

This museum holds one of the finest collections of western memorabilia in the country-the lifelong collection of Don Cappa. Cappa's collections includes many different types of guns used in the Old West, including the .41 caliber double-action Colt Lightning pistol made famous by Billy the Kid, and the Hammond Bulldog named after Doc Holidays mistress and the guardian angel, Big Nose Kate.

The Old Montana Prison Complex houses five unique museums inside its historic prison walls. The complex includes the Old Montana Prison, Powell County Museum, Frontier Montana Museum, Yesterday's Playthings and the Montana Auto Museum. One fee covers all five museums.
