Iron Wheel Guest Ranch - Whitehall

Welcome to the Iron Wheel, your home away from home. We are centrally located between Yellowstone National Park and Glacier National Park and a day trip to many notable areas in Montana. Our large rental house boasts a great outdoor space for summer BBQs including a new pavilion in 2024. These are great to host a retreat, reunion, seminar, or micro wedding. The house is 6,000 square feet and offers 7 guest rooms/4 full baths, three sitting areas, and the dining room can host a crowd. Our covered porch is a great place to enjoy the sunrise and sunset. Our kitchen is large and functional for a crowd and has most amenities you could desire. If desired, meal services can be provided for your stay so no one has to worry about missing a minute of the fun.

In the spring come enjoy watching nature "wake up" with wildflowers and wildlife babies as they begin to appear. During the summer many guests choose to stay a while and fish some of the blue ribbon rivers located nearby. Packages are available to float or fish; private pond fishing is also an option. Fall brings beautiful colors and excellent fishing in the area. If winter is your season, there are cross country trails located nearby as well as great areas to snowshoe.

Iron Wheel Guest Ranch is located just 1/2 mile off of Highway 2 West, 13 miles west of Whitehall and 15 miles east of Butte between mile markers 70 and 71. You cross the Continental Divide coming from Butte. We are located on 60 acres in Jefferson County and border BML lands as well as other private land. Little Pipestone Creek runs through our property. We are located between Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks; so for a stopping point we welcome you. Airport transportation is available from Butte.
