Backcountry Angler: Fly Fishing Lodge, B&B, Fly Shop, Guide - Dillon

Backcountry Angler has a deluxe fly fishing river lodge just off the Beaverhead River within a mile of Dillon, also a Bed & Breakfast and Fly Shop in Dillon which is near both the Beaverhead and Big Hole Rivers. Tom Smith is the head outfitter working with a select staff of professional guides to ensure a quality experience while fishing on public or private waters. We feature package trips which include lodging and guided fishing.

Each of our guest rooms have bedroom/sitting rooms with queen beds, complete kitchen, private bath, air conditioning, ceiling fans, range, satellite TV, microwaves, private porch and Montana Douglas Fir log work. The guide service, fly shop and Inn are located right on the property, and Backcountry Angler is close to great fishing. These units are close to restaurants, night-time entertainment, grocery stores and shopping. Great hiking, horseback riding, sightseeing and a golf course are also nearby.

Our fly shop can supply all your fishing needs. This includes a large selection of quality custom tied flies specifically designed for our region. Backcountry Angler is an authorized dealer of top-of-the-line fly fishing equipment and clothing. We also have the most extensive fly tying selection in the area. During the fishing season we can provide up to date information concerning fishing conditions and hatches. Come join us! We offer package trips that include fishing and lodging.

The deluxe river lodge is located one mile west of Dillon, just off the Beaverhead River.
