Second Edition Books - Butte

Second Edition Books is one of Montana's largest used book stores. It serves the local area and draws a steady clientele from large cities in western Montana. A diversity of books is available ranging from rare to collectible, to just plain good reading. Specialty areas include Montana history and literature, children's books (old to recent), and technical areas, particularly mining and geology. A large selection of sheet music is also available.

Books are available via the Internet and book search service is our pleasure. Over 30(!) years of book selling experience allows us to help you with specific regional books and fast personable service, which is becoming obsolete. Our wide aisles, well-organized shelves and abundance of chairs make browsing an enjoyable experience.

Second Edition Books is easily found. Take the Montana Street exit off I-15/I-90 and travel north (up the hill) for approximately eleven blocks to 112 South Montana. The store is located between Mercury Street (stoplight) and Galena Street on Montana Street. Off street parking is available on the south side of the building off Mercury Street.
