West Fork Cabin - Ennis

The West Fork Cabin is located near Black Butte in the Gravelly Mountain Range. This cabin is also located nearby the Black Butte cabin. Both cabins are often rented for family gatherings. Recreation opportunities include hiking, ATV and horseback riding, hunting, and snowmobiling. This is NOT West Fork cabin in the Pintler Ranger district

The West Fork cabin is one room with two bunk beds to sleep four. The cabin has a wood stove for heat, minimal cooking equipment, and firewood is stacked on the porch.

The outhouse is located south of the cabin about 30 yards away in the trees on a small ridge.

The West Fork Cabin is located approximately 60 miles south of Ennis, on the far south end of the Gravelly Range Road, via the call road, towards the National Fish Hatchery. Do not turn off toward the hatchery, but continue straight south on the main road. The turn off to the cabin is at the junction of the Eureka Basin and Gravelly Range roads. Winter access may require 30 miles snowmobile ride. Summer access is by road.
