The Crossing Bar & Grill - Wisdom

The Crossing Bar & Grill is a cozy little restaurant with a beer and wine bar in the heart of cowboy country and the Beaverhead Deerlodge National Forest. Large ranches and abundant wildlife, birds of prey and the beautiful Big Hole River surround the small town of Wisdom, where we are located.

Check-in with us to ask about local festivities such as ski-joring, cross-country skiing during the winter, and the gun show, cow pasture open golf tournament, fun run, and live bands during the summer. Any season is a great time to experience the Big Hole Valley.

The Crossing Bar & Grill is located in the beautiful Big Hole Valley 78 miles southwest of Butte, in the town of Wisdom on Highway 43. If you are coming from Dillon, drive 65 miles north on Highway 287 in the wide open Big Hole Valley. On this scenic drive you will drive among ranches surrounded by mountains. From Hamilton, drive 45 miles south on Highway 93 through the Bitterroot Mountains to the Idaho border and then 30 miles east on Highway 43. From any direction you will be sure to enjoy this scenic drive.
