Backcountry Montana Adventures - Dillon

Welcome to awesome southwest Montana. We are a complete outfitting business. Backcountry Montana Adventures offers a fun and safe way for the entire family to see the backcountry. We use three types of transportation: Horses, hiking and four-wheel drive vehicles. Whether you are a beginner or an expert we have what you are looking for in a backcountry vacation. Activities include bird and wildlife viewing, stargazing, Lewis and Clark trips, horse-pack trips, fishing, hunting, historic ghost towns and cemeteries, Indian camps and battle sites and much much more.

Our views are furnished by Mother Nature, with elevations running from our high mountain valleys at 6,000 feet to over 11,000 feet on the continental divide. Our outfitting area is located along the beautiful continental divide between Montana and Idaho.

We fish the blue ribbon trout streams and rivers here in southwest Montana. We have guided float fishing as well as walk wade fishing. We also fish private spring creeks and ponds.

When fall arrives you will find us guiding both archery hunters and rifle hunters. We have enjoyed taking both men and women out looking for the trophy of their dreams. Learn more about hunting and fishing from one of our knowledgeable guides. With over 140 combined years of first hand experience, our guides will help you to be a more productive sportsperson.

If you want to learn more about the animals and birds as well as the diverse plant life come experience Montana with us.
