Montana Country Cabin - Jefferson City

Come and enjoy the starry nights of Montanas Big Sky without light pollution. 600 sq foot, two-story log cabin located behind owners home on 23+ acres in Jefferson City with easy access just off Interstate 15. Loft bedroom with one queen bed; bedding provided (note: stairs to loft are steep). Propane barbeque grill. Bathroom with shower (towels provided). Covered porch on ground level; second-floor deck off of loft bedroom. The cabin sits 15 minutes south of the state's capitol, Helena, and 12 miles north of Boulder. It provides access to a number of outdoor activities, including Tizer Gardens and remote lakes that offer excellent fishing. Nearby Elkhorn is a historic silver mining town in the mountains east of Boulder. Mount Helena City Park is about 20 minutes away, the "Gates of the Mountains" on the Missouri River is just 30 minutes away, and Helena National Forest is about an hour drive away. Numerous small and historic towns such as Virginia City, Philipsburg, Butte, and Deer Lodge can easily be visited on day trips.

Breakfast/dinner available at additional cost with pre-arrangement.

I-15 Exit 176 (Jefferson City). At Exit, go west one block; dead-ends into Main Street. Turn right onto North Main Street. Go three-quarters of a mile and turn left into driveway at 65 N Main (log archway). Note: some online maps incorrectly show the access to our property by turning left onto Vanek Ln; further north on their map is a second left hand turn onto Vanek Ln, which is actually our driveway.
