Longfellow Park Trail - Townsend

Longfellow Park Trail (135) is actually an old road that is closed to motorized vehicles. It is a good trail to access Longfellow Park and beyond into Tizer Basin or Upper Beaver Creek. The trail is used mainly for hunting but it also accesses hiking and camping areas. Length: 7.7 miles. Medium use, moderate difficulty. Take Highway 12 north from Townsend for 2 miles to the Indian Creek Road 360 and follow this road for about 7 miles to the junction with the Weston Creek Road 4031. Follow this road approximately 4 miles to the junction with Weasel Creek Road 405. Turn north on this road and follow for about 4 miles to the Eureka Creek Road 4029 and the trailhead.
