Chinook is a rural community located in north-central Montana. The Chinook area offers one of the most historic regions of the state. Seventeen miles south is Bear's Paw Battlefield, the very spot where in 1877, Chief Joseph surrendered to the US Calvary with the famous words, 'From where the sun now stands, I will fight no more forever.' The Blaine County Museum, Blaine County Wildlife Museum (open seasonally), the unlimited recreation, the diverse landscape and simple but valued lifestyle await you.
