Logging Creek Campground - Monarch

Logging Creek Campground is in Lewis and Clark National Forest. It stretches along Logging Creek between limestone cliffs and conifer-covered mountain sides at an elevation of 4500 feet. There are 27 sites total, and many sites are adjacent to the creek with the sound of the creek heard throughout the campground. This is a very picturesque location away from it all. At the far end of the campground one can easily access the creek which is well suited for children (and adults) to play. Sites without grilles do have stone fire pits. The closest town is actually Monarch. Great Falls is displayed as the closest town because it is the safest starting point to access the campground.

There are tent and trailer sites, restrooms with handicapped facilities and drinking water provided at the campground. Fishing and hiking may be enjoyed in the area. This is a pack it in, pack it out campsite. Pets are allowed if on a leash. Maximum trailer length is 30 feet. Please limit stay to 16 days. Small fee required.
