The History Museum - Great Falls

The Cascade County Historical Society DBA The History Museum cultivates preservation of North Central Montana heritage, housed in the historic International Harvester Co & Implement Dealership on Machinery Row. The museum offers changing interpretive exhibits that tell the stories of individuals and groups who have added to the region's diverse history and heritage. The Research Center provides the public with access to 5,500 square feet of closed stack resources and over 80,000 historic & ethnographic objects.

The museum is located on historic "Machinery Row," 2nd Street South. It can be reached by turning north off 10th Avenue South onto 2nd Street South. Our parking lot can be accessed off 2nd Street South or from Park Drive South. Look for "Avalanche" the white mountain goat at our east entrance. Our ADA accessible entrance is on the north side of the building by the parking lot.
